Degree Authorization

In accordance with the Degree-Granting Institutions Act Regulations (WAC 250-61-060 (3)), DigiPen Institute of Technology is considered to be an eligible institution exempted from degree authorization requirements by the Washington Student Achievement Council effective November 1, 2012.

Accreditation

DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (“ACCSC”, or “the Commission”), a recognized institutional accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education.

ACCSC accredits private post-secondary institutions that primarily educate students for technical and occupational careers. ACCSC’s mission is to serve as a reliable authority on educational quality and to promote enhanced opportunities for students by establishing, sustaining, and enforcing valid standards and practices which contribute to the development of a highly trained and competitive workforce through quality career-oriented education. ACCSC accredits more than 650 post-secondary, trade, and technical schools that provide education to over 150,000 students in a wide variety of technical programs each year. Engineering Accreditation Board (EAB)

On 13 May 2022, The Institution of Engineers, Singapore through its Engineering Accreditation Board (EAB) awarded full accreditation for the:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Systems Engineering (Electromechanical Systems) program for students graduating from the program in the academic years 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022, 2022/2023, and 2023/2024.

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics Systems program for students graduating from the program in the academic year 2024/2025.

SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Registration

DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore is registered as a Private Education Institution (PEI) with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) under the provisions of the Private Education Act 2009 in Singapore.

The latest registration period is valid for a period of six years from 21 June 2024 to 20 June 2030. The registration number is 200711322H.
