The students of DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore picked up three awards at the Independent Games Festival China this month.

The first-person horror game Lurking received two of those honors, including the “Best Student Game” award in the Student Competition, as well as the Main Competition (professional category) award for “Excellence in Technology.” Also in the student category, the developers of the side-scrolling adventure Iris received one of two “Excellent Student Winner” awards.

Additionally, the freshman game Meowchine Mayhem was nominated as one of six Student Competition finalists.

The IGF China international competition, part of the Game Developers Conference China, recognizes the best independent games from the Pan-Pacific area, including all of Asia and the Australian regions. Since 2011, IGF China has nominated 10 games from DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore.
