Student Animations

Applying all of the skills and techniques they have learned in the classroom, students in the BFA in Digital Art and Animation program tackle a series of short film projects as a part of their program coursework. In addition to showcasing their technical mastery of digital tools and artistic fundamentals, these films give students the chance to discover what it means to evoke emotion through visual storytelling and bring characters to life.

Student Games

DigiPen (Singapore) students apply their knowledge each year to a series of increasingly complex, multidisciplinary game projects. These projects challenge students to build their own tools and technology from the ground up as they collaborate with their peers on a large, shared codebase. By leveraging the power of solid teamwork, careful planning, and communication, they learn firsthand how to create compelling interactive experiences that strive for amazing art direction, sophisticated design, and technical excellence.

Student Art

To excel in the digital arts requires more than innate talent. It takes years of discipline, study, and a keen understanding of the visual language found within nature, architecture, and the world around us. With time and dedication, students in the BFA in Digital Art and Animation program gain the ability not only to imagine new worlds altogether, but also the skills and insights to bring those ideas to life through captivating imagery. Student 3D Projects

DigiPen (Singapore) students demonstrate their mastery of both traditional art principles and cutting-edge digital techniques by creating a number of 3D projects throughout their studies. Ranging from stylized fantasy character models, to realistic, slice-of-life environments and scenes, each project attests to a deep understanding of form, light, color, composition, and complex digital art software.

Student Engineering Projects

Students in the BEng in Mechatronics Systems program work on innovative computer and electrical engineering projects throughout the course of the program. Under the guidance of both academic and industrial experts, these trimester-long project modules challenge students to design, develop, integrate, test, and present unique systems. Each completed project showcases the student team’s ability to envision engineering solutions and understand the role of a professional engineer.
