- One A3-Size clear folder
- Two large paper clips
- One pen knife
DAA1125: Tone, Color, and Composition; and DAA1151: Basic Life Drawing
- 18” x 24” newsprint or bond drawing pad
- 8” x 10” sketchbook or larger
- Several 18” x 24” sheets of gray-, slate-blue-, or brown-toned Canson or Fabriano charcoal paper
- Conté crayon or charcoal pencils (black)
- Colored conté or chalk pencil
- White chalk pencil
- Graphite drawing pencils (Hard, Medium, and Soft)
- Watercolor 20-well color palette
- Large hexagonal graphite stick (4B or higher)
- India Ink with small containers or jars for ink/water
- Small and medium or large brushes 01 to 12
- Kneaded eraser
- Pencil sharpener

- Drawing board
- Two sheets of foam core/illustration board or matboard for presentation (black or white)
- Portfolio (handmade is fine)
- Workable fixative or unscented aerosol hair spray
