Computers and digital devices have revolutionized the way we live our lives, but how many people can explain how these technological marvels actually work? DigiPen (Singapore)’s engineering-focused degree program will teach you to become a true maker, not just a user, of embedded systems — electronic devices that have a built-in microcontroller or microprocessor.

Our engineering curriculum combines theory and hands-on project coursework to prepare you for real industry challenges. You’ll be ready to develop, analyze, and manage interdisciplinary systems with a deep understanding of how to address common engineering scenarios and complexities, such as accounting for uncertainty, working with constraints, and devising solutions for multiple objectives.

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics Systems

The BEng in Mechatronics Systems is a multidisciplinary degree program that brings together the fields of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering with a holistic approach to system development. This is a joint degree program offered through Singapore Institute of Technology and DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore.

From the Academic Year 2021/2022 intake onward, the BEng in Systems Engineering (ElectroMechanical Systems) degree program will be renamed as BEng in Mechatronics Systems.
